So I teased you a couple of days ago with a sneak preview of this project. Here’s the full and finished product!
A couple weeks ago, I spent the day at the beach with a friend and her kids. We took some photos, not enough for a scrapbook, but enough that I wanted to make my friend something for her birthday.
At convention, we got a chance to play with and buy the new Gift Box Punch Board that will be available in the Holiday Catalogue. So I put two and two together, and got this awesome little box!
And the best part is, it opens up for more photos AND a little mini beach in a box!
I just love this little guy… And this photo!
I hope you’re as excited about the Gift Box Punch Board as I am, it’s a super easy and fun way to make boxes not just for putting gifts in, but for all kinds of projects!

Wow, Stefanie, that is an awesome gift for your friend!!! I'm sure she loved it. Tell me, do you find the gift box punch board to be similar to the envelope board? Does it make it way more easier than using the Envelope board to make a box?
The envelope and gift box boards make totally different boxes. The envelope board ones are thinner, great for holding a set of cards, but don't hold together on their own (without a belly band of adhesive) and aren't great for bigger things. The gift card box makes these cubes (or rectangles too), and stays together on it's own. I'll try to do a comparison as I've gotten this question a lot.
