Hanukkah is a beautiful holiday, and I wanted to share some projects with you all, so I set up a blog hop where we’ll be sharing a variety of projects with you. I made a card, but you’ll see all kinds if you follow through the hop below. You can also read more about Hanukkah here: Hanukkah on Wikipedia
My card was based off of a tallit, or prayer shawl. These are worn by some Jewish people while reciting the prayers during the lighting of Hanukkah candles, and I thought the imagery paired well with the sentiment.
I even added some extra details to the inside!
While there’s not a lot of stamps in the catalogue for Hanukkah, I love that we have other stamps and images that work. By being a bit creative we can make something beautiful and meaningful for everyone! Did you see how I used the stitched triangle dies to make a Magen David (Star of David)? I love how versatile basic shapes can be.
Now let’s take a look at what everyone else has done too!
