It’s no secret that I love custom commissions for my friends. Now that this card is off to it’s intended recipient I can share it with you here! I created this to go with a box of chocolate (made by another friend of mine) for the “friend with food benefits” of one of my friends. The original idea is totally CASEd from Dawn Griffith.
I love the detail and layers, and this stamp set and coordinating dies made it dead easy to accomplish too! See that double stack of dimensionals under the chocolate? That’s one of my favorite tricks to getting layers and dimension without losing structural integrity. I also love using the foam adhesive sheets for die cuts like the words to give them dimension.
Since this card was going to be hand delivered I was able to decorate the envelope a little more than I usually do too! I even added the lucky guy’s name to it with cut out letters,
