The Crafty Collaborations team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects including blog hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
One of the monthly hops we do is a challenge hop, and it’s on today! This month’s challenge was a sketch….
And here’s my take on it! I used the Bloom Where You’re Planted suite to create this layered and textured card. I love layering textures, whether real or implied.
Here’s a look at some of the details…
I used a few different techniques to create these layers, here’s some of the tips I have if you want to create similar layers in your own work.
And of course I can’t leave the inside blank! Here’s a look at how I decorated the inside of this card…
Now hop along and take a look at what the rest of the Crafty Collaborations gang made…
And don’t forget to pick up some of these items yourself! When you place your order with my host code (on the top left of this page) you’ll get a free tutorial bundle and a mail and make class. I’d love to see your creations based on this color combinations and other creative inspiration on my Facebook group “Creating with the Crafty Medic“, where you can even win prizes for showing off your work!
Happy stamping!

Great interpretation of the sketch and I think the Bloom Where You’re Planted bundle is probably my favorite. I just keep seeing wonderful layouts.
