I often get asked where I find all of the information for different holidays, observances, and fun celebrations for my monthly calendars. Here’s a list of some of my favorite sites! Some of them are biased towards American, Christian, or other dates, so I generally use a mix, and I do base them off the Gregorian Calendar as it’s the most universal (and what I’m most comfortable with). So here’s some resources to make your own calendars or get your own ideas on what days to create for!
Calendar Creators and Printables:
Information on what date is what:
- National Today (nice format and fairly inclusive)
- Holidays and Observances (includes more about monthly and weekly events as well)
- Time and Date (yes on here twice, they also have a long list of holidays by country)
- Wikipedia (a huge resource of course, the link takes you to my favorite page)
If you want to make a graphic like I do, a great place to start is with Canva! Theres some free calendar templates available for you to customize to your needs, and if you upgrade to a pro account there’s even more options. Use my affiliate link in the banner below and you’ll even get bonus credits!
You can also find free stock photos online to add your own branding watermark to and use, which is a great way to add color to your posts without a lot of expense and effort. Here are two of my favorite sites:
For 2022 I am hoping to make a resource for all crafters similar to what I did last year with the collaboration planner, so stay tuned. I’d love to see your calendars and hear about any other resources you may have to add to these lists as well!
Happy stamping!
