Happy Share it Sunday! Today my Crafty Collaborations friends are blog hopping sharing what we’ve been working on. I had a request for some wedding and anniversary cards, so I pulled a stamp set I wanted to play with and got to work! The Henna Hearts set lends itself perfectly to one of my favorite techniques. It’s super easy too, you just wet down some watercolor paper that’s had an image embossed on it, then adding ink to the image with a water painter. The result is this painterly look with detail from the stamped image.
Here’s a look at the process and another look at the final result!
Stamp a lined image onto watercolor paper with Versamark and heat emboss. 
Wet down your paper with water or alcohol. 
Using a water painter, start brushing ink onto the paper, letting it bleed and move around. 
Keep adding ink, colors, and layers to your piece. 
If you’re impatient like me, you can use your heat tool on a low setting to dry your piece. 
Optionally, you can add extra glitz to your project with a Wink of Stella brush.
