Today the Crafty Collaborations crew is hopping all about Valentine’s Day! While I’m not a huge celebrator myself, I do love an occasion to make cute cards for, and I do like giving candy to my friends and coworkers…
I had the idea to thread ribbon through the lines of hearts from the Sweet Heart dies, and then I started throwing some layers together. And more layers and more pieces, and finally I ended up with these four cards!
I love how the details, textures, and layers came together!
While pulling these cards together I thought of a couple tips to share with you. I like to practice my layering before putting everything together, just laying things out to try to visualize what’s going to work. I also like using a blender brush to add a bit of color to a project!
Let’s see what everyone else has made for Valentine’s Day!
