Blog hops are a fun and easy way to connect with other crafters and reach a new audience! Each blog hop that we post on Crafty Collaborations has it’s own theme, and you will create a project to feature based on that theme. Some are focused on specific product, some are based around a holiday, technique, or other focus. In general the blog hops are:
- Paper Pumpkin alternatives (featuring the current PP kit)
- Technique Tuesday (featuring specific techniques)
- Crafty Challenge (sketch, color combo, and dice roll challenges every month)
- Stampin’ Dreams (usually focused on holidays or other general themes)
- Themed blog hops around holidays or other general themes
- Share it Sunday (once a month, not required to be stamping or even current product)
In general you should always use current product that is available to customers. The banner from the Facebook event can also be used as a banner for your post, which is usually at the top of the post. At the bottom of the post you may also want to include a product list, or other promotions, then ABOVE these should go your blog hop list.
When you’re filling out your Blog Carousel submission, make sure that your “Title” is NOT the title of your blog post as this will be what shows up in the blog hop list. Instead, you’ll want to use the format “Name – Business Name (Country)”, for example mine is always “Stefanie Pletscher – The Crafty Medic (Canada)”.
If you’ve never joined a blog hop before, here are some instructions for you!
