Top 10 Basics: Paper

Sooooo many things to talk about with paper. Again, I’m
obsessed with paper. Years ago I worked in a print shop and would walk through
the stacks just feeling and smelling all the different papers. Ya, I was weird,
still am…
Stampin Up has the most awesome card stock ever. Hands down,
the best I’ve ever gotten to use. Ya, you can get cheaper stuff at the store,
but it just doesn’t hold up next to this stuff.
Another huge plus? It’s available in all the colors in all
the color families! You can buy packs of paper from one color family (like the
brights collection)…
Or individual colors (like the super awesome Cherry Cobbler)…
Or even a “Getting Started” collection that has a bunch of
everything just to get you started!
You can get it in 8.5×11 (my favorite for card making, shown
in Island Indigo) or 12×12 (which is awesome for scrapbooking, shown in Real
Red)…

You can get it with printed patterns on it (called Designer
Series Paper or DSP, like this series called Twitterpated)…
Designs embossed on it (Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper)…
And even glittery (silver, red or champagne)!
Some of my favorite papers are…
Crumb Cake because it reminds me of kraft paper…
Naturals Ivory for card bases…
And Patio Party DSP!
