Spring Blog Hop

Today’s Crafty Collaborations blog hop is all about spring. We’ve been battling snow for most of the last week, so this has been a nice breath of fresh (warmer) air! When I was going through my stamp sets this one just jumped out at me as being super ‘springy’. It’s called Welcoming Window and includes sentiments not only for birthdays, but also Monther’s Day, thank you, welcome, and some friendship ones as well.

I love how the die cut window pieces turned out. The dies cut and emboss all in one, so it’s super simple to create these textured pieces to create a scene. My extra tip today? Use your blending brushes to brush ink onto the pieces to add even more depth and dimensions. Take a look at the before and after here…
